Park Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you book your holiday with us, you are entering into a contract which binds you and the park in various ways. Your payment is taken to be your acceptance of our terms and conditions. Together with your booking confirmation and invoice, they comprise the complete contract and no agent or employee of ours has any authority, express or implied to alter the terms and conditions of this contract unless authorised to do so in writing. All bookings are made with Two Chimneys and are accepted on the strict understanding that the person making the booking does so on behalf of all the persons named / residing during the stay, each of whom should be aware of the following conditions of booking and agrees to be bound by them.
Your booking is accepted on the basis that your accommodation/pitch is available for your use on the agreed date. Very occasionally, unforeseen circumstances may not make this possible and in such a situation we have the right to cancel your booking. In this event, the park will endeavour to offer you alternative accommodation/pitch, if available. If we are unable to do so or if you do not wish to accept the alternative the alternative on offer, any refund of monies is under the discretion of the park.
In the interests of all the visitors, the park reserves the right to refuse to hand over accommodation/pitch to any person or groups of persons at its discretion. Any refund of monies is under the discretion of the park.
If in the parks opinion any person is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to property or annoyance to other holidaymakers, the park reserves the right to exclude the holiday party from the park. In this event the hirer shall remain liable for the hire price and no refund shall be due. The hirer shall remain liable for any damage caused to property.
Cancellation by the park
Accomodation/pitch paid in full will be held by the park. Any refund on monies is under the parks discretion.
Cancellation by the you ( touring/camping pitches)
Deposit paid equal to one night fee per week are non refundable or transferable.
Cancellation by the you ( holiday home hire)
Please phone immediately to cancel your booking.On the same day write in with an explanation & any proof of reason. If you cancel more than 12 weeks before your holiday start date we will refund monies paid less deposit paid. If you cancel less than 12 weeks we will ONLY refund for the following reasons:
- Accident / Illness/ Death of any member of party included on the booking form- on production of confirmation of GP/consultant.
- Jury/Witness service in a court of law on production of call up notice.
- Redundancy- on production of employers notice.
If none of the above apply no refund will be given.
Changes to your booking 12 weeks prior to arrival date-we will apply tariff price in place at time of booking your revised one. Changes less than 12 weeks will be treated as a Cancellation.
Changes to your holiday
If you wish to alter your booking, we will endeavour to do our best to accommodate these changes. A £5 fee may be charged.
We will endeavour to meet your special requests, but regret that they cannot be guaranteed.
Cutting short your holiday
If you feel the need to cut short your holiday with us after it has commenced, No refund of monies will be due.
Two Chimneys regrets they cannot accept liability or pay any compensation for cancellations to your holiday or the destruction or the damage to your accommodation (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of the holiday) due to “force majeure”, ie: any event that could not be foreseen or avoided. Such events include but are not limited to civil disorder, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions and all similar conditions.
All prices include VAT at 20% and are subject change if the rate or application of VAT changes and in the event of a change in the VAT during the course of the year, you will be invoiced at the new amount of VAT unless you have already taken your holiday or paid in full prior to the date of change.
Hire accommodation – prices shown in the tariff are inclusive of gas, electricity, bed linen and cleaning.
Offers throughout every aspect of the park are subject to availability. The park reserves the right to change or withdraw any offer at any time.
Availability of Facilities
Whilst the park will endeavour to provide all facilities and entertainment advertised ,the park reserves the right to alter or withdraw amenities or facilities or the whole or part of any programme of activities, without prior notice, and without any liability to pay you compensation or damages for the loss of an advertised facility or entertainment. You should also be aware that there are restrictions on facilities and their opening hours during off peak dates. Adverse weather conditions may also cause the closure of some facilities.
Two Chimneys cater mainly for families but may allow all -male or all -female parties, please check with the park directly at the time of booking. You may be asked to pay a security deposit at the time of takeover.
Group Bookings are not accepted by young persons under 18yrs
Sorry we do not accept dogs
Please behave to others as you would have them behave to you and respect other holiday makers and surroundings. The use of loud, foul or intimidating language or inappropriate behaviour, may result in you being asked to leave immediately.
Peace and quiet
Part of any good break is a restful night`s sleep so guests are asked to be quiet between 11pm & 7am
Children-are your responsibility
Whilst the park is happy to provide activities for children, the park is not a child care facility. Please note that at all times the safety of children is the responsibility of their parents or guardians. All Children should be with an adult from 10pm.
While children are welcome to use the shop, Bar, Arcade, they are expected to behave in a suitable manner towards staff & facilities.
- Children under 15yrs Must be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
- A life guard is not always on duty ( only peak season)
- Pool rules & Lifeguard must be adhered to at all times.
- There may times when the pool is only open to adults & toddlers- please check
Road signs and speed limit (5mph) throughout the park apply to cyclists too. Please observe these! Cycle in a responsible manner. Put your light on after dark and keep your cycle locked when not in use. Cycles are not permitted in pool/shop area use designated cycle rack.
Children`s bicycles should be returned to accommodation by 8pm or dusk.
All visitors are to sign in at reception and pay a fee to use the Swimming pool. Car parking fee may apply. Visitor are not permitted to stay overnight and all are expected to abide by the park Rules and act accordingly.
Speed limit – 5mph throughout the park-Be aware of children!
Your vehicles, their contents and accessories, luggage and personal belongings are left entirely at your own risk. The park will not be held responsible for any loss from damage to any vehicle from any cause whatsoever other than negligence of the park, park employees or agents.
Open fires, fire pits. fireworks, ground level BBQs are not permitted
Kite flying is not permitted due to overhead cables
Water Pistols, Water Bombs
Use of water pistols/bombs are not permitted
Electricity- Basic campers
Facilities are provided for plugs- meter in laundry & phone charging at reception
Note: Plugging in to any other outlet is an illegal offence
Park Staff Ask You To Please Respect The Park and Amenities
Do not damage plants, trees or grass. Please do not dig holes, cause any destruction or drop litter
Bookings for 3 night or less and Bank holidays full payment is required.
Tents/Caravans should be placed only as directed and may not be transferred to other pitches unless authorized by reception.
If pitched incorrectly so as to interfere with fire regulations or encroaching on a neighbouring pitch you will be asked to correct this.
All pitches must be vacated by 11am on day of departure.
Customers are requested to vacate the pitch in a clean and tidy condition. We will do our best to accomodate requested pitches,but reserve the right to reallocate if circumstance neccessitates.
Pup Tents /Gazebos / Groups
Pup Tents/ Gazebo-ONLY permitted on certain allocated pitches at the Managements discretion & charged for, please check when booking.
If you are part of a group, we ask that you are considerate to other campers and caravaners. We know that you wish to enjoy your stay as we hope you do but so do others around you. When you congregate and talk amongst each other the sound amplifies and can be heard for quite a distance which results in us receiving complaints as people cannot sleep or are woken very early in the morning.
SO PLEASE keep the noise down at night and early in the morning.
- All guests must report to Reception immediately on arrival.
- Under no circumstances may any pitch be occupied before reporting and payment of appropriate charges.
- Pitching of tents or caravans between 10.00pm and 8.30am is not permitted (unless prior arrangement by Management).
- Prior notice should be given if expected arrival after 6pm.
- Touring and camping pitches must not be occupied by more than one unit of accommodation.
- Occupancy of pitches may be expected (but not guaranteed) by 12 noon on day of arrival.
Spring & August Bank Holidays
Full payment on all pitches is required.
5 night minimum may apply on electric pitches or a 3 night minimum on a basic pitch.
Minimum of 7 days notice of cancellation required prior to arrival =1 night per week deposit is non-refundable & 50% of balance is refundable.
Less than 7 days notice no refund is given.
Hire of Holiday Homes
Hire prices where a holiday crosses over two price periods in our tariff the day in which you start the holiday determines the price you pay.
Short breaks for Friday arrivals the following Saturday short break price applies.
- Accomodation will be ready from 4pm on arrival day and must be vacated by 10am on departure day.
- Full Payment is required 12 weeks prior to arrival date.
- Late arrivals –Please notify the park of late arrivals after 6pm.
Whilst we aim to provide the service you have come to expect, there are occasions when unforeseen short-comings may arise. You must advise the park staff or management immediately of any problems so that remedial action, if appropriate, can be taken. We cannot accept liability in relation to any short-comings or claims of whatever nature, if you fail to notify the park of the complaint or claim during your holiday and confirm in writing within 21 days of the end of your holiday.
Two Chimneys shall not be liable for the death or injury of any person or party member of or visitor of the person named on the booking form, or for any loss or damage to property of any such person howsoever any such death, injury, loss or damage may be caused otherwise than as a result of our negligence.
Whilst every care is taken to ensure that the details shown on our advertising are correct, Two chimneys cannot accept responsibility for errors contained therein or the results thereof.
